Kayla's journey began in 2018 after the birth of her children, when she started learning to garden as a way to cope with postpartum depression. Gardening provided her with a much-needed outlet, and over the next few years, she became an expert in growing plants. She even started growing plants from seed in her basement and discovered a deep passion for it.

Eager to expand her horizons and contribute to the environment, Kayla decided to learn beekeeping. She found a local mentor and quickly became fascinated by honey bees. Her first year in beekeeping involved a lot of trial and error, but she embraced the learning process and continues to discover new things every day.
Today, Kayla proudly manages five thriving beehives that have successfully survived multiple winters. Her beehives are now flourishing, reflecting her dedication and love for both gardening and beekeeping.
